The Czech Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry, under the auspices of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU, organizes an international conference. The topic of the meeting of experts will be the issue of rare diseases and medicines for pediatric use.

Goals and Topics

The aim of the conference is to provide a holistic view of orphan and pediatric medicines in the development of new medicines legislation, including the Presidency's vision and industry's commitment.

  • Early diagnosis and comprehensive management of rare diseases – screening programs and European Reference Networks
  • European Pharmaceutical Industry contribution to better care for patients suffering from rare diseases

Attendees

The conference will be attended mainly by representatives of Czech and EU authorities working in the field of health and pharmacy (including the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the European Commission and the State Institute for Drug Control), patient organizations, local and European innovative pharmaceutical industry, healthcare professionals and other partners.

The conference is a follow-up to the May international conference "Revision of the EU legislation for orphan medicinal products and paediatric use" held under the auspices of the Chairman of the Committee on Health of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in professional cooperation with the Czech Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry.

Jak by měla vypadat nová regulace pro léčivé přípravky na vzácná onemocnění a pediatrické použití

Asociace inovativního farmaceutického průmyslu pořádá mezinárodní konferenci pod záštitou českého předsednictví v Radě EU. Tématem setkání odborníků bude problematika vzácných onemocnění a léčiv pro dětskou populaci.
